A Season for Gathering

February 6th, 2025

Punxsutawney Phil forecasted six more weeks of winter, and so far, the weather has obliged. As the chill of winter lingers, February in Morrilton brings a warmth of its own—gatherings, celebrations, and the joy of community.

This time of year is what we like to call “Social Season,” a season filled with events that bring neighbors, friends, and families together. Here’s a peek at what Morrilton has going on!

A Sweet Start to the Season

Social Season starts with a little romance as the Adelaide Club’s Sweetheart Dinner & Dance sets the tone for February. Couples and friends will dress up, enjoy a delicious meal, and dance the night away—all while supporting a great cause. Ticket sales are closed, but if you missed it this year, keep an eye out for next year’s event because it’s always a favorite!

Upcoming Events

Gala Fundraiser – A Night for a Cause

February 22 | 5 PM

For those who love a reason to dress up and give back, the UACCM Gala Fundraiser is a must-attend event. This evening of fine dining, cocktails, silent and live auctions, and live music benefits the completion of the UACCM commemorative clock tower—a lasting landmark for the community.

Century League Charity Ball – A Wild West Affair

March 1 | 6 PM-11 PM

Dust off your hat and get your boot scoot’n boogie on because this year’s Century League Charity Ball is going Wild West! The event includes BBQ, bottomless drinks, live music, and plenty of ways to test your luck—thrilling casino games and an exciting raffle packed with incredible prizes.

Grab your favorite two-stepping partner and bring them out for a night to remember, and all for a good cause! All proceeds go to improving the lives of our neighbors through volunteer service.

Munchin’ on Main Street – A Feast for the Community

March 22 | 11 AM-6 PM

Morrilton’s favorite food festival, Munchin’ on Main Street, returns this March, bringing together the best flavors from local food trucks and vendors. Spend the day wandering through downtown, with food trucks dishing up everything from mouthwatering BBQ to sweet treats and all the tasty things in between. While you’re there, check out the pop-up market with local artisans and businesses offering cool, one-of-a-kind goods.

It’s a family-friendly event with free activities for the kids—think bounce houses and fun games that’ll keep them entertained all day. Meanwhile, local musicians will be playing live music to keep the energy high and the mood just right.

And for the grown-ups, don’t miss the beer garden hosted by The Southern Slippery, where you can grab a cold drink and hang out in a lively, laid-back setting.

As always, it’ll be a day to remember!
