It might be summer, but in Morrilton, we’re already feeling the Christmas spirit! This year, Christmas in July is coming to Playland Bowling & Skating Center, and it’s shaping up to be a can’t-miss event for the whole family.

Saturday, July 26th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
It’s a fun-filled afternoon packed with games, prizes, food, and festive cheer — all to help raise funds for brand-new Christmas decorations in downtown Morrilton.
Summer Santa, Skates, and Smiles
One of the highlights of the event? Photos with Summer Santa! From 3 PM to 5 PM, Santa will swap his traditional suit for a Hawaiian shirt and beachy vibes, ready to pose with guests of all ages. It’s the perfect opportunity to make a fun summer memory that will have everyone grinning.
Of course, Playland wouldn’t be Playland without plenty of action on the lanes and rink. Throughout the event, you’ll have full access to bowling and skating. Whether you’re showing off your strikes or practicing your best spins on skates, it’s a great way to stay cool while having a blast.
Get Creative with the Tropical Christmas Costume Contest
Ready to show off your festive flair? At 4 PM, we’re having a Tropical Christmas Costume Contest, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with! Break out your most creative holiday-meets-beach looks. Maybe Santa in flip-flops? Elves on a luau vacation? Snowmen in sunglasses? Prizes will go to the most fun and festive outfits, so don’t be shy!
Raffles, Treats, and More
Throughout the afternoon, there will be raffle drawings and giveaways, with plenty of chances to win fun prizes. All proceeds from the raffles will go directly toward funding new downtown Christmas decorations, so your participation helps brighten up our community when the holidays roll around later this year.
And when hunger strikes? Be sure to check out the concession specials and sweet treats. Playland will be serving up holiday-themed snacks and refreshing summer drinks to keep you fueled up for all the fun.
