Remembering Barry McKuin

A Life of Service and Heart

Morrilton is better because Barry McKuin was part of it. A quiet force behind so many good things, Barry spent his life working for the community he called home. From his early days on Petit Jean Mountain to his years leading the Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce and Conway County Economic Development, Barry had a way of making progress feel personal. He believed in hard work, thoughtful leadership, and the power of bringing people together—and he lived that out every day.

Barry’s service reached far beyond titles. Whether through the Rotary Club, First United Methodist Church, or one of the many boards he served on, Barry showed up with wisdom and care. He was a husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and friend—and his legacy lives on in the people and projects he helped shape.

Our hearts are with Phyllis, their children and grandchildren, and everyone who loved Barry. If you’d like to send flowers or share a message with the McKuin family, you can do so below.
